I had a good time for sure. Having never gone 6.2 miles before except once in training, did not know for sure how it would work out. I did not finish first&#8230; come on only been three months since I could even go 3 miles at a time&#8230;. but I was pleased with my stats.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There were 617 total finishers (do not know how many entrants)<\/li>\n<li>I ended up 426th out of that 617<\/li>\n<li>In my age group there were\u00a043 runners<\/li>\n<li>I ended up 30th out of that 43.<\/li>\n<li>The official time was 1:03:01<\/li>\n<li>That makes the pace 10:09, not burning up the pavement, but better than the 5K pace (10:30)\u00a0 just a month ago, and twice the distance!<\/li>\n<li>Then of all the runners, 69% finished ahead of me, while in the Shamrocks &amp; Shenanigans 5K a full 77% finished ahead of me.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a rel=\"lightbox\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kasdorf.name\/wordpress\/wp-images\/Martian10K08\/Martian%2010K%20Results%2003%20300px.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kasdorf.name\/wordpress\/wp-images\/Martian10K08\/Martian%2010K%20Results%2003%20300px.jpg\" alt=\"Click on the picture to see a larger image.\" height=\"296\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The numbers here confuse me a little, they are just slightly different than the spreadsheet data on the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/results.active.com\/pages\/displayNonGru.jsp?orgID=216362&amp;rsID=60905\" title=\"Gault Race Mgt page - scroll down to the 50-59 Male section.\" rel=\"noopener\">Gault Race Management web site<\/a>.
