Some people seem to enjoy going the the same comfortable restaurant time after time, and there is something to be said for having a few good “favorite” haunts.\u00a0 However we always enjoy finding new places to eat. One fun place to go for the occasional out of town trip is Tony Packo’s in Toledo OH.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Click<\/a>
\nTony’s started in 1932 with a $100\u00a0loan, and now has\u00a0six locations in the area (I think.). The claim to fame is more than 1,500 hot dog buns signed by various celebrities.
\nThere are sports stars, movie stars, famous and perhaps infamous politicians (I would contend they should ALL be classified as infamous!) past and present.<\/p>\n

The real boost to their fame came from the TV show “MASH” in which Corporal\u00a0Klinger (Jamie Farr) mentioned the hot dogs at Tony Packo’s in Toledo\u00a0in several episodes.

\nA while back they added a new hot dog called the “MOAD”\u00a0which is M<\/strong>other O<\/strong>f A<\/strong>ll D<\/strong>ogs, and it is a bitc<\/span>, er mother of a dog to eat!
\n\"Click<\/a>
\nUnfortunately I was raised as a full fledged member of “The Clean Plate Club” which means you have to eat everything put in front of you… regardless. Which I believe nowadays is something mothers are encourgaged NOT to promote. Leads to obesity or something I guess. I was also raised not to quit on something I start, so feel totally compelled to consume what I order and is put in front of me.

I managed to keep the values intact.<\/p>\n

Now I have to explain to my\u00a0doctor in a couple weeks why the blood tests don’t look so good. Oh well, salads for lunch this week\u00a0at work.<\/p>\n
