This is not that season - the Peepers are not out yet when this photo was taken.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kasdorf.name\/wordpress\/wp-images\/fullsize\/ManchesterNH\/MtWashingtonBoat.gif\" rel=\"lightbox\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kasdorf.name\/wordpress\/wp-images\/thumbs\/ManchesterNH\/MtWashington_tmb.gif\" alt=\"The Mount Washington gets underway for a summer evening cruise.\" width=\"250\" height=\"273\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately it is still to early for the leaves to change color (1 minute away),<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.skinh.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">snow to ski on<\/a> (30 minutes away) or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhmapleproducers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">maple syrup time<\/a> (darn there is a cool &#8220;sugar shack&#8221; out the road a ways if I can get a picture of it. (ten minutes away).<br \/>\n<a title=\"The NASCAR track in Loudon NH - A short track that is quite exciting.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kasdorf.name\/wordpress\/wp-images\/fullsize\/ManchesterNH\/LoudonNASCAR.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kasdorf.name\/wordpress\/wp-images\/thumbs\/ManchesterNH\/LoudonNASCAR_tmb.jpg\" alt=\"The NASCAR short track in New Hampshire = Loudon AKA Laconia\" width=\"250\" height=\"147\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s also to late for the NASCAR race in Loudon (ten minutes away) and way past<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Weirs Beach - as seen on Orange County Choppers.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kasdorf.name\/wordpress\/wp-images\/fullsize\/ManchesterNH\/WeirsBeach.gif\" rel=\"lightbox\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kasdorf.name\/wordpress\/wp-images\/thumbs\/ManchesterNH\/WeirsBeach_tmb.gif\" alt=\"Weirs Beach - Laconia New Hampshire\" width=\"250\" height=\"316\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.laconiamcweek.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Bike Week&#8221;<\/a> when all the drunk bikers visit Laconia and Weirs Beach. (twenty minutes away).<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"A giant fir tree spotted on the road between Loudon and Concord New Hampshire.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kasdorf.name\/wordpress\/wp-images\/fullsize\/ManchesterNH\/LoudonCellTree.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kasdorf.name\/wordpress\/wp-images\/thumbs\/ManchesterNH\/LoudonCellTree_tmb.jpg\" alt=\"A larger than life fir tree spotted in New Hampshire.\" width=\"95\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nOkay, so I was out cruising around and saw this giant tree. Amazingly larger than life, surely a genetic mutation caused by some type of exposure to random redwood tree genes. Anyone have the <i>cell phone number<\/i> for the National Arbor Day group so I can report this?<\/p>\n<p>Regardless of all this, the area is very nice, at least until the snow flies. The week should be pleasant, if the current weather holds, and home at a reasonable time on Friday!<\/p>\n<p>Until there is no snowfall in New Hampshire in January,<br \/>\nGeorge<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New England in the late summer. I missed out on all the activities.
