It has just about any vehicle that can be customized &#8211; customized and on display here!<br \/>\n<a title=\"Tow Mater from the movie Cars.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kasdorf.name\/wordpress\/wp-images\/fullsize\/AutoRama2007\/AutoRamaTowMater.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kasdorf.name\/wordpress\/wp-images\/thumbs\/AutoRama2007\/AutoRamaTowMater.jpg\" alt=\"Tow Mater from the movie Cars.\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>The stars of this one included a number of &#8220;Ridler&#8221; competition entries. A super prestigeous ultra custom car competition. Stars <strong><em>Tow Mater<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<a title=\"Lightening McQueen from the movie Cars.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kasdorf.name\/wordpress\/wp-images\/fullsize\/AutoRama2007\/AutoRamaLightening.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kasdorf.name\/wordpress\/wp-images\/thumbs\/AutoRama2007\/AutoRamaLightening.jpg\" alt=\"Lightening McQueen from the movie Cars.\" width=\"300\" height=\"164\" \/><\/a>and <strong><em>Lightening McQueen<\/em><\/strong> from the movie <em>Cars<\/em> were on hand also.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Chrome on chrome, with some chrome on the side please.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kasdorf.name\/wordpress\/wp-images\/fullsize\/AutoRama2007\/AutoRamaChrome.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kasdorf.name\/wordpress\/wp-images\/thumbs\/AutoRama2007\/AutoRamaChrome.jpg\" alt=\"Chrome on cars, chromers selling chroming services, chrome polishers selling chrome polish. Even Polish sausage sandwiches.\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>There was also enough chrome to satisfy the most bling-bling crazed rap star, not to mention 30 inch rims &#8211; a cool 30 G&#8217;s for a set of four &#8211; if you had a vehicle they would fit! See the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kasdorf.name\/GSlideShows\/DetroitAutoRama2007\/index.html\">entire photo collection <\/a>when you have some spare time. I should look up to see how many acres Cobo Hall covers, but when you are walking, up an aisle, back down, up again, down again&#8230; and so on, THEN you head downstairs yet! Totally done in for the day, we were just going to do a quick pass through the lower level, until we found they hide the &#8220;beaters&#8221; downstairs. These guys were there for the fun of the show, not the prestige, popping open the trunk of the car to pull out another Bud, and another and &#8230;. The street racers AKA &#8220;The Fast and the Ticketed&#8221; are downstairs, so it draws a younger crowd&#8230; the fact the bikini contest is held in the same area does not hurt the drawing power at all!<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>the fact the bikini contest is held in the same area does not hurt the drawing power at all!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Speaking of drawing power &#8220;Mysterio&#8221; from the WWE was signing autographs, not that I had ever heard of him before, but there were literally Hundreds of people waiting in line to have a short stocky wrestler sign anything they could. Amazing, since the back of the line must have been several hours&#8230;. and a good chance he would finish for the day before they even got there.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Outrageous custom motorcycles were on display, this one a little more radical than some.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kasdorf.name\/wordpress\/wp-images\/fullsize\/AutoRama2007\/AutoRamaSkelyBike.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kasdorf.name\/wordpress\/wp-images\/thumbs\/AutoRama2007\/AutoRamaSkellyBike.jpg\" alt=\"One of the more unconvential choppers, check out all the others in the photo album.\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a> There were a lot of custom choppers on display, the width of the rear tires is remarkable. The surprise of the show for me was an entire section of customized bicycles and tricycles. It was obvious many were done by younger designers, but still I did not realize the extent to which people modified these.
